New Fire Station Proposed in Lower Homestead

The Eagle River Fire Protection District is proposing to construct a new fire station and training building in lower Homestead, adjacent to the current station. Members from the ERFPD were present at the February 2017 Board Meeting to discuss the plans and answer questions. Below are documents with more information about the current plans, plans that were shared at our February 2017 Board Meeting, and the handout that was given out at our 2016 Annual Meeting. Please see the email to the Homestead HOA regarding the proposal. The ERFPD hosted an open house on Wednesday, February 22, at the Edwards Fire Station, plans that were shared at the Open House are below. The ERFPD Board of Directors held another meeting on Monday, March 6. Below are the latest plans that will be presented to Eagle County on Monday, March 27. The currently proposed hearing date with the Eagle County Planning Commission is May 17, 2017.
