We have recently had many conversations regarding speeding on Homesteads streets. We would like to remind you of the dangers it poses to the many children, pets and wildlife who live in the neighborhood. While the HOA can not enforce speeding, we are working with our Board and the Eagle County Sheriff to increase patrols throughout the neighborhood.
In an effort to curb speeding we follow HOA Board policy to:
1. Educate our owners as to the issue of speeding in the HOA.
2. Encourage the community to follow the laws and consider the speed limits. We have installed a Traffic Radar trailer that moves around the community.
3. Enforce by asking the community to call in or email a Directed Patrol Request to the Sheriff.
Additionally, we would like to encourage our residents to leave a few minutes early so you can stick to the speed limit of 25. Please think about what is at stake, and take your time! Thank you!
