We have recently had many reports of bear sightings throughout the neighborhood. Extreme drought conditions have impacted bears natural food sources which has brought more bears into our neighborhood. We are even seeing bears out during daytime hours, as they are foraging for more food before hibernation season. Please give the bears plenty of space, keep your pets leashed and slow down when driving on Homestead streets. As a reminder, garbage cans must remain inside at all times until trash pick up day, keep garage doors closed and close and lock any lower level windows and doors.
