Eagle River Fire Protection District Ballot Issue A – “de-Gallagher”

Eagle River Fire Protection District Fire Chief Karl Bauer attended the October 9 Board Meeting to inform our community of a ballot measure that will be mailed separately from the general election ballot, and will need to be returned to the ERFPD Administrative Office at 1050 Edwards Village Boulevard prior to November 3, 2020 at 7:00pm.

A factual summary has been prepared for the November 3, 2020 Election Ballot Issue A, which asks ERFPD voters to approve a “de-Gallagher” measure to offset revenue losses resulting from state-mandated property tax assessment rate reductions (caused by the “Gallagher Amendment”). Ballots will be mailed the week of October 12, 2020 and must be received prior to November 3, 2020 at 7:00pm.
